At Nest and Kin Co., we help families prepare their homes, hearts, and minds for new life. Whether it’s welcoming your first baby or adding to your growing family, our mission is to make your nesting and postpartum journeys calm, organized, and filled with care.
We believe that creating a peaceful home, the nest, is just as important as preparing for birth. Every folded blanket, stocked diaper caddy, and intentional moment of rest matters.
Our Story
Born out of love and experience, Nest and Kin Co. was created to wrap families in the kind of care our communities have always deserved.
Black-founded, Black-owned, woman-led, and doula-led, we understand the power of culturally grounded support and the beauty of preparing not just for birth, but for the life that follows.
From personalized baby and nursery prep to postpartum services designed for rest and recovery to day and night nanny services, every offering is infused with intention and compassion. We offer families trusted, trained and vetted support throughout those early months and beyond.
We’re also preparing to launch our Postpartum Laundry Service (Summer 2026): a pick-up and drop-off system designed to keep your home fresh and organized while you focus on bonding and healing.

Our Commitment to Safety, Trust and Ease
At Nest & Kin Co., every connection begins with intention. To maintain a community where families and caregivers feel mutually safe, supported, and confident, we use a simple and transparent matching structure:
A one-time Access & Matching Fee applies whether you prefer to hand-select your caregiver or let us handle the matchmaking for you.
This fee grants you exclusive access to a carefully curated network of caregivers who have been fully vetted, interviewed, reference-checked, and background checked to the Nest & Kin Co. standard.
To ensure the mutual safety and comfort of everyone in our community, all families also complete a background check.
For those who want a truly seamless experience, our curated KinMatch Experience handles everything from identifying the right caregiver to facilitating introductions and ensuring a smooth start.
This structure allows us to protect the integrity of our community and ensures that every match is rooted in trust, professionalism, and peace of mind; just the way family support should feel.
